Super Kyo-Po Plaza: Your One-Stop Shop for Authentic Korean Groceries in Santa Clara

I am saddened to hear that they will be closing. They have been the best Korean grocery store in the Bay Area, offering unique items that I couldn't find anywhere else, competitive prices, and ample parking. They provided an authentic Korean market experience, unlike the Asian hybrid stores that label themselves as Korean markets.

This market is a hidden gem for fresh produce! The quality and freshness are far better than what you find at typical grocery stores—it honestly feels more like a local farmer's market. I was blown away by the prices today: I picked up two heads of Iceberg lettuce for just $0.99 each (compared to $2.99 elsewhere) and some delicious sweet oranges for only $0.79/lb. High quality and wholesome; I’ll definitely be back.

This market has a very good selection of produce, meat, seafood, frozen section, and dry goods. There's a wide range of tofu, kimchee, and many Asian grocery items. Grocery and produce pricing is very reasonable and service is friendly and helpful. The food court offers hot Korean rice dishes, dry noodle dishes, noodle soups, bentos, and a wide selection of boxed side dishes. Very good quality and generous portions for reasonable price. There are tables at the food court corner for eat-in and it is convenient when grocery shopping at this market. We often shop here and like the selections, pricing, and service.

Lots of really interesting stuff, very large produce section. About 9,535 different types of kimchi and tteokbokki and a whole aisle of unique instant ramen varieties & flavors (black bean and red crab were tempting—maybe next time). I think I spent 20 minutes in the drink section. I went for Bok Choy but left with Sailor Moon sodas and K-pop snacks.

This is a Korean grocery store with excellent produce and a wide selection of meats. You'll find all kinds of greens, fresh and frozen shabu-shabu meats, various pepper pastes, noodles—essentially everything you need for Korean cuisine. The store is clean and easy to navigate.

03.07.26 STORE CLOSING SALE. 09.16.25 11:30am Ok Korean Supermarket. Not the friendliest cashiers around, never say hi, no greeting, no smile, just robotic. But not unpleasant either. They were all out of certain products when we went. California grown Korean Lago grapes were $14.99/box and are super sweet and delicious, we ate the whole thing, skin and seeds.

standard korean mart, but the meat section smelled a little nasty than it's supposed to. staff seemed nice and prices were reasonable. there were plenty of snacks and drinks to choose from. and also a wide variety of fresh produce. although i did spot a couple of rotten tomatoes and they were nasty. maybe a little clean up would be nice, throw away some of those rotten and foul smelling stuff that customers don't want to see:(
